Re-development of Thameside House and Riverside House, High Street, Brentford which now forms a new scheme comprising of approximately 86 high quality residential units and commercial accommodation.

Silcock Dawson were appointed to undertake the Mechanical and Electrical Consultancy services through Planning and up to tender stage.

We were also appointed to provide sustainability consultancy services including Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor and Energy Consultants.

The potential CO2 emissions of the development were reduced by the incorporation of a CHP and 340m2 of photovoltaic cells to further reduce the carbon emissions by 20%. The overall development meets code level 4.

Other energy efficiency measures included the improvement of the fabric insulation and air infiltration to 'best practice' levels in excess of current Building Regulations requirements.
