Silcock Dawson was established in 1984 and are a leading firm of Building Services Consulting Engineers offering a wide range of Consultancy Services throughout the United Kingdom and Europe. Since 1984 the Company has grown progressively and now employs a staff of over 50 with offices in Princes Risborough.Our service covers the whole spectrum of building services engineering including:
Surveys, Feasibility Studies, Report and Advisory Work, Design, Building Modelling and Thermal Simulation, Construction Monitoring and Supervision, Project Management, Cost Control, Energy Advice, BREEAM Assessments, Part L Compliance Advice, Expert Witness, Planned Maintenance.
Our experience encompasses all types of projects including Commercial, Leisure, Retail, Residential, Mixed Use, Education, Healthcare, Industrial, Scientific, Technology, Historic and Law & Order.

Our Project Team structure is characterised by short lines of communication in the organisation. A dedicated Project Engineer is assigned to each project who provides a single point of contact with the Client and other members of the Clients Design Team.
The Project Director is fully involved in each project from inception to completion providing continuity and maintaining a close identifiable relationship with the Client.
Silcock Dawson operates a Quality Assurance System to BS EN ISO 9001 which is registered by British Standards Institution.
Our Team
The two current Directors have been involved in the management of the company for over 20 years and provide continuity at a senior level.
Nigel Purdy
Managing DirectorNigel joined Silcock Dawson in 1989 as an Intermediate Engineer, becoming a Regional Partner in 1999, a Director in 2014 and Managing Director in 2019.
Nigel is responsible for the overall management of Silcock Dawson including key client liaison and has undertaken many appointments in the sectors.

Peter Lindsay
DirectorPeter has been at Silcock Dawson since 1998 starting as a Senior Engineer, promoted to Regional Director in 1999 and became a Director in 2014.
He has established an excellent track record in delivering complex projects through his ability to recognise key design issues and challenges.

John du Boulay
Regional DirectorJohn joined Silcock Dawson in 2007 as a Senior Electrical Engineer, advancing to Associate in 2011 and promoted to Regional Director in 2019.
His experience ranges across multiple sectors with an established expertise in Education, Retail and Healthcare projects.

Eamonn Molloy
Regional DirectorEamonn is a Chartered Engineer and has been in the construction industry for over 40 years, joining Silcock Dawson in 2005.
He has a wealth of experience across a wide range of project sectors including Airports, TV Studios, Residential and Retail developments, Police Premises, Road Tunnels, Railways, Infrastructure, Offices, Hospitals and Education facilities, both in the UK and overseas.
Eamonn leads a team in the Princes Risborough Office.

Paul Russell
Regional DirectorPaul has over twenty years experience in Electrical Services gained with Silcock Dawson.
He has been responsible for several projects covering the in-house project management, design and site supervision of complete installations and has skills and experience in Residential, Retail, Education, Leisure, Commercial and Industrial projects.
Paul uses his extensive knowledge to provide quality and innovative solutions to changing design challenges.
