Silcock Dawson are appointed to undertake the design and site monitoring of the Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Services in a new facility formed by the refurbishment of the 10th Floor of the Guys Hospital Tower.

The new facility will comprise of collaborative laboratory and office space to form The Advanced Therapies Centre which will focus on translational research by providing comprehensive facilities for the development, manufacture and early phase clinical testing of new cell and gene therapy products.

To facilitate the new facilities the existing Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health services installations will be stripped out and replaced with new installations.

The existing services installation within the 10th floor will be removed and replaced with new installations able to support the intensive space utilisation of the re-modelled accommodation.

The Kings College, London facility is embedded within the GSTT NHS Building and requires close liaison to integrate the new services installations with the existing Hospital infrastructure together with arranging for services interruptions and site access.
